How it works
In practice
The women of the congregation carry an enormous amount of its life — meals cooked for families in difficulty, new mothers visited, older members driven to appointments, and the hospitality that turns a building into a church.
A monthly study group meets to work through a book of the Bible or a theme in depth. Once a year the Ladies' Bible Day brings together sisters from congregations across London for a full day of teaching, singing and lunch.
Newcomers are folded in quickly. If you are new to the area, or new to church altogether, this is one of the easiest doors to come through.
