How it works
In practice
Children are part of the church, not an add-on to it. On Sunday mornings our youngest members learn the Scriptures and grow with their families during worship, supported by volunteers who prepare properly and who stay with the group long enough to know them well.
During worship children stay in the room with their families. We would rather have noise than absence — nobody here is embarrassed by a toddler. There is a quiet space at the back with a view of the service if you need it, and changing facilities on site.
Every volunteer working with children holds an enhanced DBS check and has completed safeguarding training. Our full policy is published, and the safeguarding lead is happy to talk through any question a parent has.

Scripture teaching
Age-appropriate Bible materials working through Scripture on a planned programme rather than picking stories at random.
Holiday Bible Club
Three mornings each October half term — teaching, craft, songs and games for primary-age children.
Families in worship
Children stay with their families for the service. Activity packs and a quiet space are available at the back.
